The Ministry of Education, in partnership with Auto Sport Academy, develops since 1993 a free training of “Competition Mechanic”. This training is reinforced by training sessions within structures evolving in the highest disciplines of international motorsport, who prove the quality of the given education.

During 14 months, from the start of the school year, the selected trainees receive a theoretical and practical training course at Auto Sport Academy. The trainees are supervised by teachers of the Lycée Polyvalent Le Mans Sud and by competition specialists. The teachers organize the work, guide the mechanic trainees in their choice, check their work and, in a more global way, make sure that the mechanics are operational for their entry into active life.

This synergy between training and action is a real security of professional success for these young mechanics. At the end of their training course, Auto Sport Academy helps the mechanics integrate professional teams: go-karting, rally, circuit, etc.
