Pierre, can you describe yourself in a few words?
I will turn 21 at the end of August and I’m still studying Management in Paris. It has to be a genetic think, because I've always been interested in motorsport. I did a lot of karting when I was younger. At 13, I was lucky enough to be given a competition kart and I spent a whole year training, but then I had to stop. The day I got my license, my dad rewarded me with a day of F3 racing, and it was there where I realised that I wanted to get back into racing! I returned from Scotland, where I was studying, and my dad and I looked at different programmes that I could get into, and we both decided on Auto Sport Academy.
What state of mind are you in before the big race of the season?
I am both extremely enthusiastic and quite anxious at the same time. I’ve only had three days of training. More than anything, I am there to learn, improve and enjoy it. I don’t expect to be turning heads to any great extent! My objective is a pretty modest and realistic one, I aim to come at least 12th.
